Battle of Stonkberry, 1477

This is a battle we (two of us) fought in about 4 hrs.

The long and the short of it is, the centers beat themselves to death, while the Tudors fell apart on both flanks. Scrope on the left and Roos on the right were almost annihilated.

Some notable occurances:

It is near impossible to kill an FP knight in melee

  • A "hail of arrows" annihilated Roo's archers in one turn
  • It is near impossible to kill an FP knight in melee
  • Both sides mis-used their handgunners and crossbowmen
  • It is near impossible to kill an FP knight in melee
  • The Tudor cannon, when finally unmasked, was deadly
  • The Tudors lost 85 of 114 figures dead. The Yorkists lost 63 of 137 dead.
