Welcome to Virtual Scratchbuilder!
Home of scratchbuilt balsa gaming models for all eras

These are pictures of some of my Star Trek ships. I work mainly in two scales: 1/3900, which is in scale with Star Fleet Battles and FASA type ships; and what I call "Micro Machine Size", which means most ships are between two and three inches long.

Note that when a 1/3900 scale ship is under 200 meters (which equals two inches) in length, I use the same model for both sizes. Thus ships like the Defiant, Nova, Hediki, Sabre and others are built using the same template regardless of scale.

I also (rarely) work in 1/2500 scale, making ships as large as Akira, but that gets pretty big!
